Wire with Nickel and Chromium.

Nicrome resistance wire is one option of creating a heater.

Simply apply adequate voltage for desired length of wire, and it will heat.

For 22 gauge, it generally has near 1 ohm of resistance per 1 foot of wire.

Be careful, as it melts around 2500 degrees Fahrenheit. (1400 Celsius)
