   Windows keyboard Shortcut keys (aka: Hotkeys)  

             hotkeys work if on the user or system desktop,
              or if in/under the local Start Menu dir (user or system):
                      C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
                    or          
                        %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu 
  
Ex: I have mine here:    
     C:\Users\MDock\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\shortcuts

 

Download folder responds slowly?

 fix it:
   rt-click Downloads folder->Properties->Customize->General items

Change the lock/login screen

C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info\Backgrounds
GPO: comp->admin->system->logon->Always use custom logon background
